Limited Warranty

Polus provides the following limited warranties to the original purchaser of our window and door products, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below:

Warranty Coverage

Frame & Sash

Coverage: 10 Years
Details: Structural integrity and resistance to material defects (e.g., warping, cracking, or separation under normal use).

Insulated Glass Units (IGUs)

Coverage: 5 Years
Details: Coverage against seal failure resulting in visible obstruction (fogging) between panes. Minor scratches, blemishes, or distortion within glass standards are not covered.

Hardware (Locks, Handles, Hinges, Rollers, etc.)

Coverage: 2 Years
Details: Covers manufacturing defects under normal residential use. Finish discoloration and surface wear due to exposure, salt air, or improper cleaning are excluded.

Factory Finish (Powder Coat, Foils, Paint, etc.)

Coverage: 5 Years
Coverage: 5 Years

2. Who Is Covered

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. For builder or commercial projects, warranty terms may differ and must be confirmed in writing at the time of sale.

4. Warranty Claims Process

To file a warranty claim:
  1. Document the issue: Take clear photos and gather order documentation.
  2. Submit your request: Email [email protected] with subject line “Warranty Claim – [Order #]”.
  3. Inspection: A representative may request a site visit or virtual inspection.
  4. Resolution: If a product is deemed defective under warranty, we will repair, replace, or refund (at our discretion) the affected component. Labor and installation are not included unless otherwise specified in writing.

5. Limitations of Liability

This Limited Warranty is your exclusive remedy and replaces all other warranties, expressed or implied. Under no circumstances shall Polus be liable for incidental or consequential damages, including labor, painting, removal, or reinstallation.

6. Maintenance Requirements

Regular maintenance is required to keep your warranty valid:
Failure to follow maintenance guidelines may void your warranty.
